MONICA
SIMPSON
Founder & Lead Designer
Monica Simpson is a Houston-based interior designer with a refined eye for blending classic design with modern elegance. Her work balances traditional forms with contemporary details to create interiors that are timeless, tailored, and deeply personal. Every space she touches is grounded in thoughtful composition—layering proportion, texture, and scale with intention.
With over a decade of experience, Monica began her career at Ralph Lauren, where she spent five years shaping the brand’s retail store environments and supporting the launch of the children’s wear collection. Her role involved close collaboration with textile designers and creative directors, cultivating her deep appreciation for materials, craftsmanship, and the power of a well-executed concept.
Monica’s design philosophy is shaped not only by her industry background but by her time living abroad. She spent five years in China, traveling extensively throughout Asia, where she gained a profound respect for cultural nuance and the art of hospitality. This experience sharpened her ability to listen, adapt, and work seamlessly across diverse teams and perspectives—skills she brings into every client relationship.
Known for her collaborative spirit, Monica believes great design is never created in isolation. She values the exchange of ideas and works closely with architects, artisans, and homeowners alike to bring a shared vision to life. Her goal is always the same: to craft spaces that reflect the individuality of her clients while honoring the integrity of design.
